          • Moral Evil - suffering caused by humans acting in a way that is morally wrong.

          • God has given people free will
            • God has shown people how to live through the 10 commandments  but it is up to them to follow God's instructions.
          • The garden of Eden story teaches that Adam and Eve chose to disobey God . This is called the Fall.
          • As a well as power for good there is power for evil.
            • This is said to be satan - one of the archangels that disobeyed God and was thrown out of heaven in the form of a serpent. Satan tempted Eve to eat the fruit.

          • Some people have claimed to be possessed by a demons and people try to 'exorcise these demons. In the new testament it claims Jesus did this.

    • Islam
      • Beliefs about God
        • Monotheist
          • The most important belie about Allah is the concept of Tawhid - oneness
            • Therefore according to muslims Allah: has no partners. Is omniscient (knows all things) Is omnipotent (is all powerful) Is the 1 God of all time and mankind.
      • What Islam teaches about Good and Evil:
        • Everyone is born with natural instinct to understand the difference between right and wrong. They also have free will and must choose between the guidance of Allah and the temptation of Shaytan.
        • Allah created angels from divine light. From ire he made other spirits called Jinn. He then made the first human, Adam, from clay.
          • Allah ordered all the angels and Jinn to bow down to Adam. Iblis, one of the Jinn refused and was then rejected, accursed and the curse stayed on him till day of judgement.
            • Iblis (Shaytan) said that forever he would try to tempt humans to chose wrong over right
              • Although Inlis is allowed to test a Muslims faith he is not equal to Allah and he cannot hurt people unless Allah allows him .
                • For muslim's life is a period of testing and temptations but Allah will forgive anyone who sincerely repents
      • Revelation
        • The Qur'an
          • Th Qur'an is regarded as a special revelation from Allah to the prophet Muhammad.
            • Contains the words of Alllah
              • It cannot be criticised to do so would be disrespectful.
              • To preserve the true words of Allah, the Qur'an is always read and studied in arabic.
  • Jesus
    • Came to teach people God's will for them. Peace on earth. Died on the crucifix for his love of humanity so all people could be forgiven for their sins.
    • Beliefs about God:
      • Only believe in one God - monotheists.
      • The Trinity
        • God the farther.
        • God the Holy Spirit.
        • God the son.
