    • Safeguarding (Adults)-Involves of the individual to be able to live a life free from abuse, working with partnerships which prevents the risk of abuse.
    • Disclosure and Barring Service-This helps the employers make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people worrking with vulnerbale groups.
    • Vulnerable Adult-Someone that is overr the age of 18, who may need help with tasks.
    • Standard DBS-This check for spent and unspent convictions, cautions and final warning.
    • Enhanced DBS-This includes of a standard check, as well as additional information held by the police that is considered relevant to the role applied for.
    • Enhanced DBS with list check-This includes the same as the enhanced check as well as a check of the DBS barred list.
