- 1) INTRO
- Opening Para - state why the question/ statement = whole topic = is worthy of investigation & why it was chosen = the importance of the question
- I can state the issue that is raised - e.g. many people are wrongfully put into jail, or oppositely are released, due to the jury's perception of appearaance
- Background info - succinct intro to the relevant info = to understand the issue and to give context
- Can mention one of the main studies that will be further explained
- Terminology - should be defined
- Also, limitations should be mentioned e.g. Only studies researched in English speaking countries will be mentioned
- Research Q - should be stated - and thesis statement = mentioned
- Thesis statement will indicate the argument e.g. It should be found that discrimination is experienced, and has a clear negative effect on conditions, such as sentence time, as well as... etc....

- Body - follows the structure of the thesis statement = chronological order
- Psychological knowledge will be used in argument - thesis will be supported by evidence = will use CT!!!

- When a new study/ evidence is introduced = I will state & explain how it supports/ questions/ challenges the thesis
- Each study/ piece of evidence - should be evaluated
- However - should not repeat evaluations if they are relevant to most of the studies/ research e.g. the studies are lab experiments/ have correlational results
- And ethics should not really be talked about = not relevant
