  • Do you agree with the ideas expressed? Implications for religion and human experience part
    • Implications make me feel god-talk not just meaningless.
      • Religion; belief and practice meaningless.Worship ceremonies/Rel Exp = unverifiable and meaningless.
      • Abolishment of religion. (good no conflict).. but impact on individuals and lives so big silly to say non-sensical and justify its demise.
      • Rel exp in the mind; all these psychiatric patients. Necessary if feels true and benefical? Great number, V similar = not tricks of mind. half humans insane.
    • Human life
      • No ultimate moral values. Just opinions. Impossible to condemn actions. No moral facts. Nature is "regularity" nothing more, no influence from outside world
        • Couldnt condemn ****/torturing
          • Lack of moral values + no rel power = no meaning or purpose. Need it to strive for better?
      • Theories like NML and UT wrong as confuse opinion + fact. Abomination of all moral values -> CHAOTIC world completely morally independant.
        • Couldnt condemn ****/torturing
          • Lack of moral values + no rel power = no meaning or purpose. Need it to strive for better?
    • Subjective perceptions meaningless
      • Cannot verify love.trust.
      • Assume intuitive knowledge (i know he cares)
        • Intuitive knowledge false. Consequences of verification go beyond religion.
          • Cannot justify love/beauty.
    • Conclusion
      • undesirable world
      • VP falls short of own values
      • Denial of proofs/strengths for God through Deisgn argument
      • Little value for anything. Incapable of appreciation. Live by simply what is empircally verifiable - no desire to better ourselves.
