- Frames
- Frames are individual slides that when put together form an animation. Flash has the ability to create and stack slides to create sound animations.
- Layers
- Layers are stacked canvasses that can be edited and frozen to edit more on different layers. It is in flash as you can create separate layers
- Controls
- Controls are the tools available to the user to create and animate efficiently, flash has a wide variety of tools that the user can use.
- Tweening
- Tweening is the automatic generation of frames based on the two positions in the animation, it is implemented fully in adobe flash.
- Buttons
- Buttons are symbols that contain frames, usually four, that can change state based on the button assigned. Flash has the ability to create and edit buttons.
- Libraries
- A library is a area where pre-made animations and assets can be found and used. Flash has a library built in which can be added to by the user.
- Symbols
- A symbol is a graphic button or clip that is available to create in flash CC.
- Preloaders
- Preloaders are custom build indicators that tell the viewer that content is being loaded, they are possible in flash.
- Scripts
- Scripts are used primarily in the creation of websites. Flash has this feature under the name "ActionScript"
