(1906) It redistributed land from strips to individual plots of land to increase the efficiency of farming also it allowed the pesasnts to migrate to Siberia and set up farms there so that there was a less condensed population in the countryside.

The peasants still used ***** farming due to tradition and people did not trust Stolypin and his Siberian train due to Stolypin's "martial law" after the 1905 revolution which killed 3000 people using the "Stolypin Necktie"
