They match acts to venues which will match the amount of people comingto veiw the concert.

Boosey and hawks are a massive company because they bought all of the unowned classical music from years ago and made a living rom that.

Where do promotion come in the music production time line?
They are one of the last people to come into play once the tracks are made or until a tour has been booked the promotion will then promote the necessary things.

Why are promoters important?
They are important because otherwise not well known artists wouldn't get their voice heard and promoters are what make them known by people.

Why are producers important?
Without producers the quality of the piece would be much worse the producer is who makes the piece stand out and improve the overall sound of the piece.

Why is communication important?
It is important because if you don't communicate as a promoter then you wont know who will be attending the gig and you won't get the bigger bands as you have to communicate a lot to land the big jobs.

Is it important to communicate as a producer, and why?
Yes because if you don't then you could create a piece of music that the artist doesn't like or isn't what they wanted. So you have to communicate to make sure you are always doing what the customer wants.

An organisation founded and funded by businesses that operate in a specific industry.

What qualifications do you need to become a promoter?
Most employers will look for English and Maths as a minimum, and qualifications or skills in IT are also useful. Also BTEC Level 2 Business Studies Entry with 2 GCSE (A-D) helps
