Right Atrium
Recieves blood from the vena cava(s)

Ejects blood to the pulmonary artery/ contains pulmonic and tricuspid valves

Brings OXYGENATED blood to the left atrium from lungs

Left Ventricle
Contracts hard (high pressure) to eject blood into aorta via aortic valve.

Superior vena cava
Brings deoxygenated blood from neck + body to right atrium

Tendinous chords
Tendons connecting the tricuspid and mitral valve flaps to ventricles.

Atrioventricular valves (biscuspid valves)
Make possible the transfer of blood from atria to ventricles; prevents backflow.

Prevent backflow from aorta, pulmonary artery and veins.
