What is flexion?
Flexing of a body part, means bending e.g bending your elbow up.

What is extension?
Body part restores natural position. Extending of a body part. e.g. extending of the elbow after flexion.

What is abduction?
Movement of a limb away from the midline of the body. (Abduction means away e.g abducted by aliens)

What is adduction?
Movement of a limb towards the bodies midline. Opposite of abduction.

What is rotation?
Turning of a body part e.g rolling your neck.

What is circumduction?
Movement of a limb in a cirlce e.g move the shoulder around.

What is pronation?
Flat down, palms are facing the ground e.g babies when they have tummy time.

What is supination?
Facing up, palms are up (remember holding a bowl of soup -supination)

What is elevation?
Raised area

What is radial devation?
Movement of bending the wrist to the thumb (wrist away from the midline)
