Step 1:
Step up 5 test tubes labelled 1-5

Step 2:
Pipette the volumes of water and hydrogen peroxide into each test-tube as shown in the table

Step 3:
Mix the contents of each test tube

Step 4:
Using a cork borer, prepare five cylinders of potato 8mm in diameter and 40mm long

Step 5:
Add a drop of liquid soap to each test tube

Step 6:
Place a cylinder of potato into each test tube

Step 7:
Immediately mark the height of liquid in each test-tube with a marker pen and start the stop watch

Step 8:
After 5 minutes, measure the height of the bubbles that form over the contents of the tubes. If the bubbles reach the top in any of the test-tube before the time is up then measure all the test-tubes at the time
