To investigate obedience in an up to date way and see the extent to which a Ptp will psychologically abuse someone who is interviewing for a job.

Volunteer sample of 24 male and female Dutch students

Describe the results.
92% of Ptps made all stress remarks because they felt it was the experimenter causing the interviewee (confederate) stress, not them. In the control condition no stress remarks were taken all the way.

Describe the conclusion.
People will obey authority even if it means harming someone psychologically, even in a more everyday condition.

Compare the study to Milgram.
The two cannot easily be compared because they happened 20 years apart and within different cultures.
