How do you add fractions?
1. Make the denominator the same for the fractions by multiplying, making sure that whatever you do to the bottom you do to the top 2. Then add only the numerators together

How do you multiply fractions?
1. Cancel vertically or diagonally if youcan by finding the HCF and dividing the numbers chosen by that 2. Then just do the top x the top and the bottom x the bottom

How do you divide fractions?
1. Change the sign into multiplicaton by getting the reciprocal of the second fraction 2. Do the same as multiplication

How do you do functions with mixed numbers?
1. Multiply the denominator by the whole number then add the numerator to this number and this becomes your new numerator 2. Continue with the function you want

How do you compare fractions (to see which is biggest)?
Make them all have a common denominator multiplying, making sure whatever you do to the bottom you do to the top. Then just compare them by seeing the differences in the numerators
