by providing high-quality, personalised,safe and compassionate care that promote the equality, diversity and rights of individuals in care enviroment.

being non-judgemental, respecting others views and choice of people who require care and support, valueing diversity, attending staff meeting, training opportunite,monitor for staff, following agreed ways of working and using effective communication.

how can a care worker and a setting promote best practise?
care worker create a personal development plan by reflecting on their practise. a setting could provide opportunite for staff to share practise to meet targets inexperienced staff could have a mentor to develop practise reach required standard.

to provide the required care to meet needs of individual this improves trust, confidence within practioners. also, well-being, making progress,speedier recovery and their self-esteem

understanding how unfair treatment could cause detrimental to individuals and their well-being which is essential to an informed care worker to provide the high-practise care.EG to treat older adults according to their needs.

prejuidce-avoiding people who are different and treating them differently considered they are same.inadequate care- making patients wait for toilet.breach of health&safety inadequate hygience practises.abuse-no activity for adults with LD making fun.

raising concern about discriminationand examining current practise are important ways of promoting.esential steps must be taken before reporting to authorites. there is a guidance booklet for health service staff on raising concern to prevent it.

reporting an incident to relevent authorities, reporting to managment, reflecting on your own attitudes and changing practise and encouraging others to do it to.

challenging at the time raising awarness on what they are doing, enable the person to reflect on their actionand supervise them so quality of work is monitored

tell the individual to read the organisation policies, consult a senior staff for advice by adressing the issue. if serious disciplinary action might be taken to make them aware of the importance and provide a basis for changing individual`s attitude

raising awarness session for staff on equality,diversity and rights or effective communication. E.G proffesional developmant opportunity that helps improve understanding correct way of working.

enables all in the care setting to take action from any poor treatment E.G organisation`s complaints procedure should be provided so individuals can know to complaint internally or to CQC. for people with LD an advocate would obtain their rights.

how do we deal with conflicts?
listening actively, remaining calm, becoming objective and empathetic are ways of resolving conflict in care enviroment, important to see both sides of arguments and postively look for solutions. we could also implement policies and codes of practise
