- CaTiO3 (AMO3). A2+/M4+ or A3+/M3+. ccp of Ca2+ and O2-. Ti4+ in 1/4 oct. holes. Ca2+ at centre, Ti4+ at 8 corners, O2- at 12 edges. CoNos- Ti=6, Ca=12, O=6 (10)
- ccp anions. Cations in octahedral holes. CoNos = 6. Alkali/silver halides (except CsX) (4, 4, 9)
- e.g. TiO2. Unit cell not cubic (1 length longer than other 2). CoNos- Ti = 6, O = 3 (use as self cleaning glass coating) (6, 9)
- hcp version on sphalerite (3, 8, 9)
