Literally having no home or haven, and the homeless are described as people without a home.

Pregnant women, people with dependent children, those who are vulnerable because of old age, mental illness or physical disability, those who have lost their home as a result of an emergency.

Loss of employment, health problems, eviction, breakdown of relationship, mortgage or rent arrears, moving out of a home, fire or flooding, limited housing supplies.

Low self-esteem, boredom, limited access to health and hygiene, increased dangers, difficulties with relationships, lack of privacy.

Losing your job or being made redundant may mean that you lose your home

Deteriorating mental or physical health may mean not being able to remain in your home.

Divorce or separation may result in one partner being unable to live in the home.

Being unable to pay the rent or mortgage may result in the home being repossessed.
