The NHS foundation trust are part of and committed to the NHS but have more freedom in how they run their hospitals and how they meet the demands on them.

Adult social care is the support provided to adults with physical or learning disabilities or physical or mental health illnesses.

Child protection is available to children and young people who are at risk of significant harm and need protecting.

Day Care Centres
Day care centres, or day units are normally provided for specific client groups, in most places there will be day centres.

Hospice Care
Hospice care aims to improve the quality of life for people who have an incurable illness.

Residential Care
Provides long term care for adults and children needing 24 hour care which cannot be provided appropriately in there own home.

Occupational health services aim to keep a workplace/workforce fit and healthy so they are able to carry out the duties for which they are employed.
