The main economic system in Europe based on private ownership and the making of profits - exploition of the poor by the rich.

The exploited industrail workers, who according to Marx would triumph in the last great class struggle.

Reactionary
Resistance to any sort of reform.

Pogrom
An organised violent attack on an actnic minority.
