What was Aschs line study?
Had to judge line lengths. Confederates gave the wrong answer to see if the participant would conform. Naive participants conformed on 36.8%of the trials.

Mock prison with student participants assigned as either a prisoner or guar. Guards became increasingly brutal, prisoners became more depressed and withdrawn. Concluded participants conformed to their roles as guards or prisoners
