What are constructive waves?
Waves that deposist more material than they erode and build up the coast.

The swash is powerful and it carries material up the coast.

The backwash is weaker and it doesn't take a lot of material back down the coast. This means the material is deposited on the coast.

Constructive waves are made by weaker winds and have a shorter fetch than destructive waves.
