What is the test for carbon dioxide gas?
When Nitric Acid is added to Calcium Carbonate a gas was produced. The gas turned limewater cloudy. This is the test for Carbon Dioxide.

What is an ore?
Rocks from which metals can be extracted are called ores. These rocks are not usually pure substances but a mixture of compounds.
