66% of children - used funhaler more than the regular
parents reported significantly more success in medicating (22/20 always successful) in comparison to regular (3/30)
use of funhaler = increased child and parent adherence to the treatment plan

conclusion

improved adherence to medical advice can be achieved if treatment provides a rewarding experience for the children
funhaler may be a useful device in managing and treating young child asthmatics
behavioural techniques (operant conditioning) can be used as
