How are embryonic stem cells different from adult stem cells?
Embryonic stem calls can differentiate into any type if body cell, whereas adult stem cells are less versatile - so can only turn into certain types of cell.

Give an example of how stem cells are used in medicine.
E.g. people which some blood diseases (e.g sickle cell anaemia) can be treated by a bone marrow transplant as it contains stem cells that can turn into new blood cells to replace the old faulty ones.
