Volcano case-study (Chances peak,Montserrat) (LEDc) 1995-97

Location: Montserrat is a small island in the Carribean. There is a volcanic area located in the south of the island on soufriere Hills called Chances peak.

Cause: Montserrat is on a destructive plate boundary. Underneath Montserrat the Atlantic plate is slowly being forced under the Carribean plate.
