The US economy between 1910 and 1929

The US economy experienced growth following the outbreak of wae in Europe in 1914 but in the years immediately after the war, 1919-22, there was a slowdown in economic activity. this was due to :

  • the return of demobbed US soldiers from Europe which led to a rise in unemployment
  • Europe beggining to recover and becoming less
