Joseph Fletcher argues that Jesus did not mention homosexuality (this can be interpreted differently: Jesus said he came to uphold the law, Jewish law clearly stated homosexuality was wrong - this is why Jesus didn't say anything).

Bishop Gene Robinson (a homosexual) regards love as central to Christian law - we have a duty to practice God's fundamental law - the Golden Rule (Agape). For Robinson - agape reflects commitment to your partner - sex is morally wrong if promiscuous or for money, therefore, we should judge homosexual acts the same way we judge heterosexual acts.

Situation Ethics focuses on each situation. The interests of the individual and love and justice may permit the breaking of traditional moral rules surrounding sex.
