salah: the daily prayer(2)

the rak'ah:

prayers are made up of a number of rak'ah: set sequences of actions

1. strande and recite first chapter from the qur'an

2. bow and recite 'glory to be my lord,who is the very greatest' in arabic 3x

3. stand make a recitation praising god

4. do prostration-shows complete obedience to god

5. recite 'god is the greatest' while sitting and then while prostrating
