TYPE OF THEORY

deductive- it is impossible for the conclusions to be false if the premises are true.

a priori- without evdience/ experience- application of pure logical reasoning.

ontological argument- arguemnt for the existence of god based on the concept of the nature of being.

ANSELM(1033-1109)

PROSLOGION 2- its possible to exist in both mind and reality- its greater to exist in reality than the mind- if god is as we defined god must exist in mind and reality

PROSLOGION 3- Necessary existence is better than contingent existence- its possible to think of a being with necessary existence- gods existence can be necessary or contingent- being that god is greater tahn which nothing greater can be conciever he must exist necessary.
