A meta-ethical, deontological theory that belives morality is what god commans. Moral goodness occurs when moral agents follow Gods commands. Gods commands are non-negotiable and absolute.

DCT is important for everyone who believe in god. Its a family of related ethical theories. those who follow DCT look at sacred scriptures to provide moral standards.

Emil Brunner 1947 defines DCT as : "the good consists in always doing in what good wills at any particular moment."

God is all powerful and has total freedom to do as he wishes…
