Current and Potential Difference
Circuit containing:
Current - measured by an ammeter - in series
Potential Difference - measured by a voltmeter - parallel
Fixed resistor - has a value that doesn't change
In this circuit the temperature is constant
For this circuit, current is directly proportional to the potential difference - on a graph the line is a straight line
To work out potential difference you use this equation:
V = I x R
V - volts, I - amps, R - ohms
