How are componets connencted in a parallel circuit?
Across the supply.
1 of 8
What happens if there is a break in the circuit?
The charge will still flow in the parts of the circuit that isn't broken.
2 of 8
What is the potential difference across the componets?
They are all the same.
3 of 8
Why are there junctions in the circuit?
So that different amounts of charge can flow through different components.
4 of 8
What does the current depend on?
The resistance of the component.
5 of 8
What happens if there is a big resistance?
There is a small current through it.
6 of 8
What equation is used to calculate current through a component?
I = V divided by R.
7 of 8
What is the total current through the circuit?
The sum of the current through the seperate componets.
