Oxidising Alcohols
- Alcohols contain the functional group -OH, the hydroxyl group
- Alcohols are names after the number of carbons they contain and thier names end in -ol
- Alcohols with more than two carbon atoms can have positional isomers
- Alcohols are classified into primary, secondary and tertiary
