Product
One of the main areas within this is the product lifecycle, this has been mentioned in previous notes on Marketing Objectives. There is then the boston matrix. This is a simple chart, used to show where a product is and what it is bringing your business. The four areas are Cash cows (high market share, low market growth), Problem child (high market gowth, low market share), Rising star (high market share, hight market growth), and Dead dogs (low market share, low market growth). Thes areas can then help you to sell your product, the very area has needs. A Dead dog often donesn't make much profit, but they don't need much investment either.
