1)    Coal
2)    Oil
3)    Natural gas
4)    Nuclear fuels (uranium and plutonium)

  • All of these will run out some day
  • They all harm the environment
  • But they provide most of our energy

Power Stations

  • The heat energy that is released from the fuel is used to boil water, turning it  into steam
  • This action turns chemical energy into heat energy
  • The steam then drives the turbines, turning the heat energy into
