Age- your body can limit the activities you can do

  • Some sports are more popular than others with different age groups
  • Most people age 16-30 have loads of choice for physical activity, but morewill choose to play tennis, say, rather than something like bowels
  • People over 50 tend to be more physically limited in the sports they can chose. They tend to do less strenuous activities like walking or swimming
  • Some sports, such as weight lifting and long distance running can potentially damage a young persons body
  • Comeptitions in high endurance activities often have a minimum age restriction
