A toy can be anything a child uses for play. It does not need to be bought from a shop or a catalogue. Children use their imagination to turn whatever is around them into 'toys'. This includes; under the table a den or house, or using a large box as a boat or spaceship. Children will also use pans & saucepans as instruments and drum kits etc...
