How to get a grade 8/9 in literature and language (AQA & EDUQUAS)

I got an 8 in lit and 9 in language (i really wanted a 9 in both though :-( ). To do this I knew techniques and terminology really well so that i could not only identify them quickly but also use them in the creative writing sections of language. I also knew conventions of an article, speech etc. Also, I always took the description question (unless there were 2 narrative questions). if you go for the narrative keep it simple, only 3 characters…
