- Briddlington protected by 4.7km sea wall
- Two rock Groynes and a 500m long revetment were built at Mappleton in 1991. Cost £2 million and were built to protect village and the B1242 coastal road
- Groynes and a Sea Wall put in place at Withernsea, rip rap was also placed
- concrete wall, timber groynes and riprap at Hornsea
- Gabions just south of Hornsea…
