How effective are groynes at controlling longshore drift in Sheringham?

The groynes at Sheringham are very effective at controlling longshore drift. I could see that each of the groynes were sucessful at stopping sediment from moving. There was a small difference in the amount of sediment between the East and West side which demonstrates where the sediment was moving towards. Beyond the lifeboat station, towards the West of the beach, the groynes were less effective at controlling longshore drift. This made it clear that on that day the sediment was being transported West. Therefore, I can conclude that the groynes at Sheringham are very effective at controlling
