Types of training.
Continuous training
The muscles are slow twitching and you would have to exer for a long period of time for this to be effective it has to be done for a long period of time.This is working on the anaerobic system and you will normally be working for 30 minutes or less at low intensity. An example of a sport could be 500m.
Fartlec training
Fartlec training is a good activity to do because you can work at different levels when you want and for how long you want. For example you could run for 20m then sprint for 10m, then walk for 10m. With this you are working on both arerobic and anaerobic and this is usually done of different terrains.
Interval training
Interval training involves periods of work and then periods of rest. For example sprinting for 20m and then walking back and doing this as a reparation. This can be good for games players. Like football players because they could be sprinting to close down a ball and then jogging/walking back to…
