ao1:

The frustration aggression hypothesis is based on the psychodynamic approach .it uses the concept of catharsis ,relieving emotional tension, and displacement , unconscious difference mechanism whereby the mind diverts emotions from the original source to a less threatening dangers or unacceptable one to avoid experiencing anxiety . frustration is a feeling of tension that occurs when now efforts to reach a goal or blocked according to this theory proposed by dollar 1939 frustration often leads to aggression . when I drive to reach a goal is blocked by external factors we experienced frustration which in turn creates an aggressive drive and this can lead to aggressive behaviour . when we expressed his aggression physically verbally or by fantasising we experienced catharsis -our emotional attention is reduced . our aggression is not always expressed towards the legitimate target because it could be too dangerous and we risk punishment or because his target is not available so it displays are aggressive response towards a less dangerous target or one who just happens to be present.

ao3:
