An employee is someone who works for an organisation under a contract of employment in return for a salary or wage. 

Eventually all ambitious entrepreneur will have to employ new staff.  

Recruitment can be an expensive process.  Business should first identify the skills, qualities and experience that are needed.  This means firms need a clear understanding of their market and product.  

Then strengths and weaknesses of the market need to be located and the gap filled with the new employee.  It also allows them to know how many to employee.
