Ebert and His Government

Ebert's coalition consisted of:

1. SPD - they wished to create a socialist republic by the creation of a parliamentary democracy.

2. USPD - they wanted to create a socialist republic governed by the workers and soldiers councils, in conjunction with a parliamentary democracy.

3. Spartacists - they wished to create a soviet style republic led by the workers and soldiers councils.
