Wanted to discover whether cultural differences in attachment types exist, They did this by looking at a large number of strange situation studies from various different cultures. 

METE ANALYSIS = Did not carry out the research themselves - looked at data people had previously produced. 

Looked at findings from 32 strange situations - 8 different countries.All the samples were used…
