1936 Berlin Olympics

Hitler used the Olympics as propaganda and to prove that the “Aryan race” was “superior.” However, he was disproven as Jesse Owens, an African-American athlete won 4 medals, beating Hitler’s “Aryan race.” At the end, Hitler refused to attend the medal ceremony to shake Owens’ hand.
