STANZA 1:

'moon rolls over' - personification of the moon anthropomorphises the supreme forces of nature.

'the moon does neither of these things' - scientific view --> denial

'I  am talking about myself'- reflects himself in nature, links the two together 

STANZA 2: 

'Not possible to get off to sleep' - Poet is restless

'out the front' - enjambement leading into the third stanza

STANZA 3:

'Washed- out creation' - metaphorical…
