Communicating with waves (P1)

We can use radiowaves to send TV and radio signals. We can use microwaves to communicate with satellites eg. mobile phones. We can send infrared signals and visible light signals as a series of coded pulses down optical fibres for usinf broadband or cable TV. We can also use infrared to communicate with devices which use remote controls such as TV's or DVD players or garage doors.
