Coastal landforms caused by erosion

Some coastal ladforms only form where there are bands of rock that are more resistant to erosion than others.

Coves form where there are parallel bands of hard and soft rock

1) A cove is a wide, circular bay with a narrow entrance.

2) They form where there's a band of hard rock(e.g. limestone) along a coast with a band of softer rock behind it ( e.g clay)
