Cloud Computing Def: the practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the internet to store, manage, and process data, rather than a local server or a personal computer.
Advantages of Cloud Computing:
- The cost of providing software, maintenance and upgrades for cloud computing is way cheaper than buying software liscenses for all of the users trying to use the files
- In cloud computing the storage for all of the files that you want to save is unlimited so that you can never run out of space for all of your files
- The cloud provides all of its users with automatic software updates which removes the time that you would spend manually scheduling and installing updates.
- There is an increased easier access to data as once you have signed up to a cloud system, you will be able to access files anywhere and from any device.
- There is also a reduced carbon footprint as there is less technology needed to produce, install and run the cloud computing systems and servers.
Disadvantages of Cloud Computing
- Some Cloud Computing companies will only allow you to use certain amounts of time on the systems before your price for using them goes up
- Cloud Computing servers are heavily based on Internet connection availability as they are mostly run across the internet, so…
