- Properties of amorphous solid:
1)no sharp M.P.-undergoes liquifaction over a broad range of temp.
2)they do not have characteristic heats of fusion.
3)Like liiquids,amorphous solids have a tendency to flow(very slowly).Therfore they are called as super cooled liquids or pseudo solids.
