Explores the idea that female writing was often hidden, unidentified female writers and the idea that females were seen as inferior to men and had divided education. Knowledge is power.

"Anon" = referencing anonymous? female writing has been anonymous/hasn't survived
The word "Anon" actually means soon/later
Structure:
Written in anecdotes
Language and words are short and simplistic, idea of women not being recognised?
Techniques/Language/Themes:
"maybe a nurse, a nanny, / maybe a nun -" = Alliteration of "n", listing stereotypical female jobs. Nuns had an education whereas other females didn't.
"A woman I knew / kept her skull" = Metaphor represents this powerful image…
